We would like to publish this emails to illustrate the views
and opinion of US citizens:
Hello my friends,
I am an American citizen who has been watching with some horror the
events in Palestine. I am not anti-Jewish or Anti-Arab. I am a
friend
of most any sensible people.
However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see who is the aggressor
in the Middle East. I look at who has the guns, who has the money, who
kills more people and who keeps gaining land. Why isn't it obvious to
everyone?
I wrote a letter to President Bush in which I asked him what he would do
if some people from Utah drove onto his ranch in Texas with tanks and
bulldozers and told him, "Hi, we are going to flatten your house and
take your land because we just found out that God gave it to us 3000
years ago!"
In my view, Mr. Bush's insensitivity towards the Palestinian plight
'borders' on hypocrisy. I have also written to other world leaders, to
see it they would help to explain it to him. I wrote to my senators and
representatives. Doesn't seem to help much though.
If anyone has further helpful suggestions about who to contact or what
to do to raise awareness of this obvious tragedy, please contact me at
chris@mytechs.com
Thank you very much :) Chris
Hello friends,
What follows is the opinion of a US citizen that has been sent to his
Congressmen:
Whatever we may do to Mr. bin Laden, he has already succeeded beyond his
wildest dreams. His goal, and indeed the goal of all terrorists, is to
increase hate, tension and strife. That is because this paves the way for
more terror.
Mr. Sharon has jumped for the bait with great relish. He is drawing Israel
and the USA into a course of escalating hate and violence. Why in the
world do we with think Sharon will bring peace to the region? Israel has
been committing armed robbery against the Palestinians for years. Please
consult any historical atlas on this point!
Rather than passively watching this one sided slaughter, we should be sending in
peace keepers to calm things down and get the Palestinian state that Mr. Bush
keeps mentioning off to a healthy start.
If we don't do something soon, we will be left with egg on our face and the
sound of Bin Ladin's ghost laughing in the distance...
