This is a letter from an American Friend:

Dear people of Kuwait ,

Thank You for standing by us in our endeavor to unseat a vicious dictator. Unlike some of our long standing western allies you have not forgotten that the American and Kuwaiti people are bound by blood and honor. I saw signs from Kuwait on TV that said “We are Proud of our Friendship with America ”. That statement is truly telling and I would like to say we are proud to have the Kuwaiti people as friends.
