History of Osama Ben laden

This is an interesting open letter we received from Dr. James F. Newell, to Osama Bin Laden. We publish it as it is. We remind the readers that this is an opinion, though we think that Osama Bin Laden should be arrested and put on trial , and eventually executed, for his bad deeds against humanity.

Please get this message to Osama bin Laden:

Does Allah want humanity to destroy herself?

Allah created humanity for some reason, so what would be the point of Allah wanting humanity to be destroyed? Also, Allah is merciful, and it is impossible that a merciful Allah would want all the innocent people of the world to be killed, which is what would happen if humanity destroyed herself.

Now, the current actions against the West will end up causing humanity to destroy herself if they are continued. Islamic nations will not survive this destruction. Your current guerrilla activities will not save Islam, for the Islamic nations will be destroyed along with the rest of humanity.

However, you could be a main international leader in saving Islam and the rest of humanity if you changed tactics. You could lead a movement to get all the nations of the world to negotiate the arrangements that would be necessary for humanity to survive and to become an advanced civilization. In such an advanced civilization, Islam would flourish. All that is needed for Islam to be strong in  an advanced civilization is an Islamic scientific research Institute to finish the scientific work which shows that consciousness is more than the brain, that consciousness spreads through space, and therefore, that a universe-wide consciousness must exist. The cutting edge of science, Para psychological psychology and part of the work in Consciousness Studies, already shows the above. It is only a matter of improving the experiments enough to convince other scientists who still hold to the view that consciousness is only the brain and therefore religion is impossible. In reality, those brain-only scientists have no evidence for their belief, but the Para psychological psychologists and Consciousness Studies scientists do have the above evidence which supports the existence of Allah. So science is no threat to Islam if Islam improves on the current research in this area with a good quality Islamic science research Institute.

Now since science of the future - not the scientific mistake being made now - is no threat to Islam, Allah would want humanity to enter an advanced civilization, not destroy herself.

The psychology of creativity researcher, D.N. Perkins, in the book, THE MIND'S BEST WORK , Harvard University Press, 1981 made a major point that the creative solutions we find are usually solutions we were looking for. Therefore, if we look for a simple and partial solution, that is what we will come up with. However, if we look for a difficult solution, we are likely to be able to come up with that.

The International community generally thinks in terms of compromises among the national interests of the world's nations, with most of the creative thinking being done by economists and others in terms of each individual's own national interests without regard to the interests of other nations. This produces much lack of coordination because a compromise between separately developed national interests is unlikely to be optimum for the development of the world economy, etc. as a whole.

But, following Perkins, we could approach the analysis procedure in a different way. We could analyze in terms of the growth of the entire world as a whole, in terms of economic growth, growth of knowledge, etc. We could furthermore do this using the guideline that every legal requirement and arrangement in the international plan (perhaps five year plans) would in sum benefit the people of every single nation without exception. In working up an international five year plan (or some equivalent), if the planning got to a certain point and one or several nations would not benefit, then further work on the plan would continue until an international five year plan were created which would benefit every single nation without exception. This may seem difficult, but, if Perkins, above, is correct, then if we try to create an international five year plan that benefits all nations without exception, we should be able to do it. That we aren't able to do this now is the result of our not trying to do that, but rather we are only trying fragmented national plans to benefit single nations without considering the benefit of other nations. We can't figure out how to benefit all nations of the world simultaneously if we don't even try to figure out how to do that.

If we do that, the chances are that the world economy can grow at 10% per year or more, because that is normal during the take-off periods of developed nations in the past, and the world economy is at the take-off point if it is considered as a single economy. We could do this in ways that were safe for the environment and sustainable.

What would this give humanity, and every single nation? It would provide a good standard of living for everyone in the world within just a couple of decades. It would provide increased markets for all corporations. It would provide the money to increase our scientific research. This increase in scientific research would enable us to do things like find cures for all diseases, and to increase our life spans. The scientific research recommended above would verify the validity of religion. which would also help everybody in the world.

You, Osama bin Laden, could become a major leader in a movement to establish the creation of such five-year plans that would save humanity from destroying herself, save Islam from destruction along with humanity, and would create a wonderful advanced civilization for humanity. You could end up as Secretary General of the United Nations as a result of your work on this if you could bring this about. To bring this about, you would essentially move from guerrilla activity to a peaceful political movement. You would also want to establish an Institute with some of the best thinkers in the world to devise a framework for an agency which could create such international five year plans.

If Allah doesn't want humanity to be destroyed, then he doesn't want you to continue the guerrilla activity. Instead, he wants you to become a leader in moving towards the productive and peaceful coordination of all nations via such international five year plans.
